About Aimee

(Founder & Principal Planner)

I have been in the industry since 2007 and have been a venue manager, catering sales rep, and assistant wedding planner prior to opening Confetti Skies. Being on the venue and catering side prior to having my own wedding planning business has been the most beneficial part of my career because I understand the back of house and the importance of having a solid timeline.

My philosophy is that a wedding planner is a reliable expert that can help take your day to the next level. Wedding planners have knowledge that brides and grooms don't necessarily have, and quite frankly, shouldn't be expected to have! For the most part, couples are doing this for the first time, and a wedding planner does this every day. Wedding planners are here to be your best support system and guide you through the process. We don't expect you to know everything, and even if you do, you should ENJOY your wedding day, not worry about if the escort cards are in alphabetical order so your guests can find their seats quickly. Even if a couple wants to do all of the planning up front, a month-of coordinator is worth the investment to tie up loose ends and ensure your day runs smoothly. Even as a wedding planner, I hired a month-of planner to coordinate my wedding. That is how strongly I feel about planners and the benefit of having one.
